The two main benefits of ColorAccess for your business is to help you provide exceptional customer service and to control your inventory. When you have a client ask you for a product you don't recognize or you know is from a previous limited edition your best chance of locating that product is on ColorAccess. The best part of searching on ColorAccess is you won't get 100 e-mails from 100 different consultants trying to get rid of their inventory. You control who and how many consultants you ask for product. It might be from a consultant in your area to one across the country. But you control how many responses you will receive.

The two options for locating product are as follows:
  1. Searching the site. (Free)
    • Log-in to the site and click the Search icon in the menu bar on the left hand side of the page.
    • That will bring up three boxes. If you know the product name click on the arrow to the right of the third box.
    • Scroll down until you see your product name. Click on the product name to highlight it.
    • Click the "search" button under the box.
    • If the product name appears on this next page click on it and this will bring up the contact information of all the consultants who have that product listed in their inventory.
    • Click on any e-mail address. This will bring up your e-mail browser and you can contact her directly from the site.
    If after going through steps a - d the product name does not appear that means there are no consultants with that product listed. In which case if you were a subscriber to the Wish List you could go on to option number two.

  2. The Wish List (Subscribers Only)
    • The Wish List is only for discontinued product that is not currently listed on the site. It is e-mailed out every other Monday to all subscribers. Just e-mail Jo at Jo@coloraccess.com and let her know exactly what product you wish to find. It will immediately be placed on the Wish List page and it will go out in the next Wish List e-mail.
Inventory Control
The best time to list product on the site and get it out of your inventory and into the clients hands is as soon as it goes off the closeout section of our order form. That's when clients will want to stock up on their favorite product for fear of not being able to locate it in the future.

To list product click on the List and Add Products icon in the menu bar on the left hand side of the page. Follow the simple directions there.

Hint: It is best to have your product list alphabetized by name before you sit down to enter it onto the site. You can do this easily by entering the list into a column in an excel spreadsheet then clicking on the a-z icon at the top of the task bar.
